A2F Family Night: Throwback to 2016!

Course 101 One-Day Retreat
Saturday 2/7 10AM-6PM
Course 101 is a great way to learn the intellectual foundations of Christianity. We’ll have a space for dialogue and end with good food and fellowship!
Our weekly rhythms
Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm — A2F Bible Study
Join us for our core content times. We’ll be going through the book of James (4 weeks), apologetics and evangelism training (3 weeks), and Christian discipleship (3 weeks).
Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm — A2F Prayer Meeting
We will be alternating between college-wide prayer and praise (UC Berkeley, SFSU, USF) and A2F small group prayer times every other week.
Fridays 6:30pm — A2F Family Night
Wind down the week with us at our A2F Family Nights! We’ll have yummy food and do something fun together (think: epic laser tag, SF outings, or just a hilarious time in the living room). Select Friday nights: 2/6, 2/20, 4/10, and 4/17.

Richard and Jeanne are Cal alums with over two decades of college ministry experience at UC Berkeley, UC Riverside, and Cal Poly Pomona.
Mission Trips
Filter of Hope
Every year during spring break, students at A2F partner with Filter of Hope and travel to Central America to bring clean drinking water filters and the hope of the gospel to families in need.

A little bit about us
Life at Berkeley moves fast. At Acts 2 Fellowship, you’ll find something different — friends who show up through thick and thin, late night McDonalds runs, spontaneous sunset drives to Grizzly Peak, and a community learning what it means to follow Jesus together. Whether you’re exploring faith or just looking for real connection, we’d love to meet you!
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.
And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people.
And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

College is a great time to explore and grow in your faith, and you don’t have to do it alone! Here are some ways you can grow spiritually at Cal:
Join a Christian fellowship. A2F offers connect groups, prayer and praise nights, and A2F Monthly, through which you can build friendships, study the bible, and grow in faith together. If you’re still exploring, Unity in Christ maintains a list of other Christian fellowships at Berkeley so you can find the right fit.
Attend a local church. Many of us in A2F attend Acts College Church on Sundays, which is geared towards college students and young adults.
Check out our resources. Our daily devotionals are a great way to stay grounded in God’s word throughout the week. We also have Course 101, a 5-session class that explores the intellectual foundations about Christianity and offers reasons for why we believe what we believe.

A2F hosts welcome week events during the first two weeks of fall semester as a way for new students to get to know us! During the school year, our regular offerings include:
Connect Groups: small groups that meet weekly for food, fellowship, and Bible study
Praise and Prayer Nights: every Tuesday at 9PM at 2518 Durant Ave
A2F Monthly: large group gatherings that meet every 1st Friday at 6:30pm
Sunday Service: Many of us attend Acts College Church on Sundays
Throughout the year: retreats, mission trips, conferences, sports tournaments, service opportunities, trips and outings

A2F is led by a team of staff mentors and student leaders. Our ministry leaders, Richard and Jeanne, have a big heart for college ministry and have served college students for over 23 years. A2F also has a student council made up of upperclassmen who help plan events and support the fellowship.
