I’ve been thinking about how amazing it is that though I have heard the same gospel truth so many times, art has the ability to creatively capture that same “overtold” message in new ways that are refreshing to the soul.
“It has been a wonderful experience to compete in the Olympic Games and to bring home a gold medal. But since I have been a young lad, I have had my eyes on a different prize. You see, each one of us is in a greater race than any I have run in Paris, and this race ends when God gives out the medals.”
Some of our teams gave different workshops about how to defend the Christian faith, taught college students English, and explained to kids why their identity is in Christ, so here are some heartwarming sharings we collected!
I pray that God can keep me thinking about those in my community and mourn for them. As Jesus saw every person in the crowd with compassion, I pray that God can help us see our black neighbors as people who need compassion as well (Matthew 9:36).

I took virtual tours of campus through Google Maps, learned about Berkeley history, and went down many rabbit holes on College Confidential and I thought that’s really all it took to be ready for college. To no one’s surprise but my own, my first year really threw me off-guard.

Renounce your sluggard ways!
He isn’t a God out to get us, full of arbitrary rules and regulations. He isn’t a distant God who must be chanted at to increase our chances of getting heard. He is Our Father in heaven. This is where prayer begins.
If I had to use one word to describe the trip I would use "growing". I learned so much about God and I was challenged to get out of myself.
Doing this work is worth it, and God indeed uses this work to multiply joy and blessing to both the receivers and the givers.
